I loved working with Jarveal! He was a team first player. He shared his approach to things and was supportive to anything I was attempting to accomplish. As Career Coaches, we would collaborate on class content, student programing, and best practices for working with Honors Carolina students at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Jarveal's best quality is that he was not ever satisfied with the status quo. He would actively rethink our programs and approaches to things to come up with better solutions on his own. He did not wait to be assigned things. He was always trying to improve on the students' experiences without being prompted just because he wanted to better their paths and experience. Students and colleagues alike gravitated to Jarveal because they all knew he would listen to them, assess the situation and then create a path that optimized their approach.
